Intermittent fasting has been proven to decrease skin-fold measurements rapidly, at the same time ensuring that your body does not go into a sever ‘starvation’ mode which can lead to weight fluctuations later on.
The solids and dehydration is taken up by supermodels before a runway show. This is an extremely downsized version of that (supermodels usually do 9 days).
From January 2nd – 10th
Intermittent fasting
· Eat only between the hours of 12pm – 8pm. 3-4 large meals.
· Fast between 8pm – 12pm (overnight 16hours). Allowed greens mix, green tea, water.
· Eat lots in the 8 hours that you can: one meal with eggs and extra protein/fats, one fish meal with salad/veges, one red meat meal with salad/veg/fats and one white meat meal with salad/veges/fats. Also include a protein shake with greens/glutamine after your workout.
· Train mid-morning around 9am on an empty stomach.
· Take probiotics, carnatine, vitamin C and fish oil in the morning with greens/green tea.
· Still take 2 digestives mid-meal.
· Drink 3L water at least.
· No fruit, nuts, carbs.
· If you need fiber, have 3 tablespoons yoghurt with fiber/LSA mix, seeds and cinnamon. Take 1 digestive mid-meal.
January 10th-13th
· No solid foods. Protein shakes with greens only. 4-5 per day.
· Still continue with fish oil, carnitine and vitamin C.
· Drink plenty of water before bed.
January 14th (day of shoot)
· Protein shake with greens in the morning. ONLY ONE SHAKE TODAY
· Try only consuming 1L of water prior to shoot. Sip infrequently only when needed.
· Take large water bottle for after the shoot as you will be dehydrated.
