Cleanse diary
So I started my 7-day cleanse yesterday (or until my medical foods run out). Here is what I’m doing specifically each day. Let me elaborate to make your reading more entertaining”
Meal 1
- 2 x tbs greens/reds - this stuff tasted like grass in powder form & is the colour of dark green monster boogers
- 1 x tbs fiber or flax hulls - think of a HomeBrand generic grain breakfast cereal, put that in a blender, then add water to it. Water with Weetbix, but not as nice.
- 10 x bcaa - large white caps to stop my body eating at my muscles, and rather eat at my fat.
- 3 x Multi Intense - huge dark green multivitamins that are hard to swallow because of the sticky outer coating.
Meal 2 (During workout)
- 20 x BCAA Excellence - necking drugs during a workout like a 16 year old at their first Big Day Out
Meal 3 (Post workout before sauna)
- 2-3 x tbs medical food - I have 2 flavours: chocolate (like a cheap HomeBrand type) and Mango (which I’m yet to try, but anything with the words “mango” and “medical food” in the description sound like tropicana vomit to me)
Meal 4 (Inside sauna)
- 1L of VERY COLD water - sweating is sexy
Meal 5
- 2 x tbs greens/reds
- 10 x BCAA
- 3 x Multi Intense
- 1 x serving of vegetables - the vegetables I’m allowed are cabbage, capsicum, eggplant, broccoli, brussel sprouts, asparagus. I’m probably eating quite a large serve because by this time of the day, I’m fucking starving. I can only boil/steam these, and flavour them with lemon/lime
Meal 6
- 2-3 x tbs medical food
- 10 x BCAA Excellence
Meal 7
- 2 x tbs greens/reds
- 10 x BCAA Excellence
- 3 x multi intense
- 1 x serving of vegetables
Pre-Bed
Let’s not deny it guys, this cleanse is gonna work. I’m not as hungry as I thought I would be, I will need to sleep more, and my training changes. Yesterday I did Pilates which was amazing. Today I’m deadlifting off a podeum 60kg for 8 sets of 4, wit a 4-sec drop, paired with 12.5kg DB front foot elevated split squats with a 4-sec drop. 1m30s rest in between each. How fun for me.
